Former hospital
It was built at the end of the 18th century with resources from the Americas.
It was built in the late 18th century using funds from the Americas. It is situated on the same street as the Town Hall. At first glance, it does not look like a hospital, but rather a typical 18th-century farmhouse. It consists of two storeys and an attic, and is constructed of rubble masonry, although it features ashlar blocks at the corners and around the openings. Its main façade features one of the most important coats of arms in Bizkaia, dating from the 18th century. As it was built to care for the town’s inhabitants, it broke somewhat with the previous tradition of caring for travellers and pilgrims. It currently houses a care home.
Church of Saint Marina
It is the second most important public building in the town. It was built in the 16th century, in the Renaissance style.
Village Cross and Uribarrena Spring
It dates from the 19th century and is in the Neoclassical style.
